Briefing update – 2 April 2014

[Transcription of private conversation between Colonel Colin James Pickering (retired), Private Investigator, and Major Stephen Michael Phelps (assistant to COL Pickering) dated April 2, 2014.]

COL Pickering: OK Phelps, what have you got for me today?
MAJ Phelps: Well Sir. We've examined the passenger manifest, and have raised several questions of interest.
COL Pickering: Is there anything outstanding?
MAJ Phelps: Yes Sir. It appears that there were two confirmed stolen passports and ID's in use, which reportedly have been a simple case of illegal immigration transit.
COL Pickering: That's worriesome enough isn't it?
MAJ Phelps: Yessir, it is worriesome. We shall delve into this and try and pickup on others that have investigated this beforehand.
Also, we have found that MAS issued press releases consistently every few hours on the first days of the disappearance of flight MH370, providing little more information with each release, as they had little to add.
